AHG Scholarships and Work Exchange / Internships

We are pleased to offer an opportunity through our Animal Hospice Group (AHG) Work-Exchange/Internship Program, which begins with the Compassionate Care: Introduction to Animal Hospice Short Course. This foundational course, valued at $249, provides comprehensive insights into the care and support of aging and terminally ill pets. As a participant in this program, you will be granted access to this course at no financial cost plus there are no additional required materials/resources for this course. You will need access to a desktop computer, tablet device, and/or mobile smartphone with wifi connection and capabilities.

In exchange for this valuable educational opportunity, we expect participants to contribute 12 hours of work, valued at $20 per hour, during the five lecture / five-week duration of the course. This work may include tasks such as social media management, document or transcript proofing, or other activities that support the mission of Animal Hospice Group.

This arrangement not only offers you a chance to explore the field of animal hospice care but also to contribute meaningfully to our ongoing efforts to support pet parents and their beloved companions.

Upon successful completion of the Compassionate Care: Introduction to Animal Hospice Short Course and the associated work-exchange responsibilities, we will have the opportunity to mutually assess the suitability of continuing our journey together.

If it is determined to be a good fit for both parties, we may offer the chance to advance and move forward to the next stage and would match the educational value with a corresponding commitment to volunteer work.
