This Animal Hospice Short Course addresses the energetic aspects of the end-of-life journey through hospice, dying, death, and aftercare - all of which relate closely to the work of Reiki and healing arts practitioners - for their own companions as well as animal caregiving family, friends, and clients.
The learner will become inspired to consider the perspectives of the pet, their person, the human-animal bond, and also the relationship between them and any extended family. Aspects of animal hospice that learners will become acquainted with include, but are not limited to:

The Short Course comprises of five lectures including material from the 24 lectures offered in the Animal Hospice Certification curriculum. Animal Hospice Group Co-Founder and BrightHaven President Gail Pope’s introduction will be a short overview of the foundations of animal hospice intended to give the learner background to introduce the more advanced concepts in the lecture content. Handouts integral to the learning process will be provided.
No prerequisites are needed. Please note: This is not a course in Reiki techniques.
