Enrollment Process for the

Enrolling in the Animal Hospice Group’s Certification Program is simple!

  • STEP 1 : Complete the online Animal Hospice Certification Program Application
    •  Simply fill out the short application form on this page
  • STEP 2 : Meet & Greet
    • We’ll set up a brief introductory Zoom meeting with the Animal Hospice Group
  • STEP 3 : Approval
  • STEP 4 : Enroll & Pay
    • An email notification will be sent to you containing an enrollment/payment link
  • STEP 5 : Receive access to the program
    • An email notification will be sent to you containing your log in information and you may begin the program right away

If you do not receive any email confirmations after submitting your application, please check your spam/junk folder to see if the notifications found their way there. Or, you may need to resubmit your application.

What to Expect Once Enrolled

Your investment includes 24 hours of online learning, monthly live discussion with Animal Hospice Group Founders and students, focused reading of the best in Animal Hospice Care, quizzes to test your understanding, and a final exam to demonstrate your knowledge. A Certificate of Completion will be rewarded after passing the exam. Completion of an Animal Hospice Group Internship on the Animal Hospice Helpline includes a graduation writing assessment, and a graduation interview, leading to your certification as a Certified Animal Hospice Practitioner (CAHP). Please read below for more details.

* Recommended Resource Materials

  • The recommended reading/booklist will be available upon enrollment.
  • Books are highly recommended for the Certified Animal Hospice Practitioner candidate. 
  • Books will total less than $150 and are the student’s responsibility.
  • Many resources will be online (no cost).
  • Copyrighted materials are available for viewing. Students will also be able to receive downloadable versions for an additional fee.
